Increase in Limb Amputations for People with Type 2 Diabetes

The number of people in England having a limb amputated due to type-two diabetes has risen dramatically, a study has shown. In the last 9 years, below-ankle amputations doubled to more than 2,000, and major amputations increased by 43%!
